I was a secondary Maths teacher for 14 years at St Joseph’s Catholic College, and as part of this I have used Excel to produce various worksheets. These worksheets automatically generate virtually infinite questions of the type that need to be able to be easily answered for GCSE.
Of course, it would be great to be able to use these skills in lots of different contexts, but these allow pupils to build up the toolbox of skills needed to move on to practical applications.
